    About this project

    Liberty Warehouse was originally one of the largest tobacco trading depots in the United States. Design Element was hired by East West Partners to design and fabricate an extensive interior and exterior sign package for their upscale apartment project in Durham, NC. We planned, designed, produced and installed an elegant sign package utilizing many of the materials salvaged from the warehouse's demolition, including the restoration of the original, historic projecting Liberty Warehouse sign.
