ILLUMINATED SIGNS

Lighting that works with the sign and its setting

Illuminated signage can identify a building after dark or give an interior logo a clear presence. Design Element creates illuminated building signs, sign cabinets, monument signs and lobby signs across Raleigh, Durham and the Triangle. Our local portfolio includes Durham Academy's illuminated monument and campus map, the Road Scholars pylon and the UL Solutions lobby sign.

Planning your sign project

The lighting effect depends on the sign face, letter construction, background and surrounding light. We review those conditions along with viewing distance, mounting access and service access. For a new illuminated sign or a replacement, electrical coordination and any required property or permit approvals belong in the project plan before installation.

What to send for a quote

Send your site address, daytime and evening photos of the proposed location, your logo, approximate dimensions and the completion date you need. Include photos of an existing sign if it is being replaced and any information available about electrical service at the location.
